This adventure safari gives you an opportunity to cover the best known parks in the country. We shall visit the Aberdare National Park, Samburu Reserve and Olpejata Conservancy.
DAY 1: ARRIVAL
Upon arrival you will be met outside the baggage claim area by our guide who will escort you to a waiting vehicle and transfer you to Eka hotel with a brief introduction en route. The guide will be holding a welcome signboard with our logo and your name on it.
DAY 2: NAIROBI –ABERDARE COUNTRY CLUB
You will be driven to Aberdare National park and arrive in time for lunch at the Aberdare country club and later transferred to the Ark for dinner and overnight . The park is characterized by steep forest ravines and open moorland. The park is also home to elephant, leopards, Black rhinos, spotted Hyenas, baboons, Columbus monkeys, warthogs, buffalos, bushbucks and many others. The bird watchers will have an opportunity to see the part 250 plus species of birds.
DAY 3: SAMBURU GAME RESERVE
After breakfast we shall depart for Samburu where you will have a stopover at the equator and take photos but even more interesting perform the water experiment to differentiate between the north and southern hemisphere. Upon arrival you will check into your pre booked lodge and have lunch. There shall be an afternoon game drive as you tour the park. The Samburu reserve is rich with rare wildlife such as gravy’s zebra, reticulated Giraffes, Oryx, gerenuk, Somali ostrich and elephants.
DAY 4: SAMBURU
Full day exploration of the fascinating Samburu National reserve awaits you. Enjoy the park’s diversity from the Ewaso Ngiro River, acacia thickets, thorn trees, the riverine forest and grassland vegetation. Have an Early morning and afternoon drive at the reserve. Game viewing concentrates along the Ewaso Ngiro River which is the lifeline of the semi-desert environment.
Dinner and Overnight at Samburu Lodge / Elephant bedroom/ Ash nil.
DAY 5: SAMBURU –OLPEJATA.
After breakfast drive to Sweetwater tented camp whose tents face a water hole with the view of snowcapped Mount Kenya in the background. Game viewing drives gives an opportunity to see rhinos and chimpanzee, elephants, tree hyrax, while tailed mongoose, black fronted dickey, mole rat, bushbuck, elands, and waterbuck.
DAY 6 OLPEJATA- NAIROBI
Have an early morning game drive and explore the wild at dawn. Later on return to the lodge for breakfast as you prepare to depart for Nairobi. We will escort you the airport in time for your outbound flight.
