The name ‘Tarangire’ means zigzag, an attribute to the meandering river that passes through Tarangire National Park. However, the natives claim that it came from some ancient communities who used to hunt the warthogs in the area, which ran in a zigzag motion, hence the name Tarangire. The 3 Days Tarangire National Park Safari will expose you to the 2850 square kilometers jungle full of 1600 wildlife species.
Day 1: Welcome to Tanzania
Whether in a hotel room or you just arrived at the airport, our representative shall be there to take of you. From Arusha, you shall drive to Tangaririe National Park. On arrival, lunch will be served just in case you didn’t have a picnic lunch en route. Later, there will be a short game drive to familiarize yourself with the environs in anticipation of a full day of exploration.
Day 2: Explore the park
Tarangire National park hoards about 1100 square miles of land, full of species of many kinds, and the drive will make all of them available for your eyes to behold. After breakfast, you will commence the drive.
Expect to see immense herds of elephants, baboons, lions, cheetahs, water hogs, waterbucks, impalas, the elusive leopard, and many more.
Day 3: Departure from Tarangire
After an optional morning game drive, a delicious breakfast will be served. This will mark the end of the trip; however, you may choose to extend your stay by visiting other parks. Contrary, you will be driven to your desired location or the airport for your outbound flight.
