Come see nature in its wild, discover the Masai Mara National Reserve and Lake Nakuru National Park. The Masai Mara offers an opportunity to see and experience a range of wildlife elephants, buffalo, zebras, hippos, gazelles, antelopes, giraffes, gnus, hyenas, crocodiles and many more. Lake Nakuru’s right pink flamingoes abound here, sometimes in the millions, while endangered rhinos wallow amongst the birds, presenting a pictorial paradise. As if to compete for the best spectacle, the land shows itself off with immense rocky escarpments, dense acacia forests, wooded hills and unexpected waterfalls. You’ll find other birdlife here with an abundance of pelicans, cormorants, kingfisher, ostrich, stork as well as herons and eagles. You shall be in the hands of our highly trained guides, who have extensive knowledge of the parks to guide you through the expedition.
Day 1: Arrival
On arrival our guide will pick you at the airport and shall transfer you to four point hotel
Early the next morning after breakfast, our guide shall be waiting for you to begin your journey to the Mara
Day 2: Nairobi – Masai Mara
We shall pick you up from your hotel at 7:30 hours, a safari briefing session with our guide then drive to Masai Mara game reserve. A brief stopover at the Great Rift Valley view point for some great views and photographs. Afternoon game drive to see sundowner as you trail the BIG 5, a journey full of epic scenes and the vastness of the savannah plains. Dinner and overnight at the Mara sopa lodge.
Day 3: Masai Mara Game Reserve
After breakfast you will experience a full day game drive in the Masai mara with a picnic lunch offering an opportunity to trail the Big 5, Wonderful scenery and the abundance of wild life. The Mara offers a variety of wildlife; you will see lions, rhinos, crocodiles, hippos, giraffes, wild beast, zebras, and buffalos, visit the banks of Mara River and spot the hippos.
Later in the evening you will return to the Mara Sopa Lodge for dinner
Day 4: Mara – Nakuru
After breakfast you’ll depart to nakuru, you will arrive during the late afternoon and have lunch en-route. The park is known for its prolific bird life including flamingos. It also contains a sanctuary for the conservation of white rhino. Moreover, species like the Cape buffalo and waterbuck can be seen near the shoreline as well. The park is also ideal for hiking, picnic and game drives. There are 56 different species of the park including white rhinos, waterbuck etc. Overnight and dinner at sarova lion/Flamingo hill tented camp.
Day 5: Nakuru- Naivasha
After breakfast you will depart to Lake Naivasha. The lake is home to a variety of wildlife with 400 different species of birds. The most exciting activity in this lake is the relaxing boat cruise, where you will stand an opportunity to spot both terrestrial and aquatic creatures such as the hippos. After the boat cruise, you shall check into Lake Naivasha lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 6: Naivasha- Nairobi
You will leisurely have full breakfast. The safari tour ends here, you will journey back to Nairobi and you will be drop-off at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (NBO) to connect flight home.
